Elyse McNeil is a registered Clinical Psychologist who completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Bond University. Elyse works with adolescents, adults, and couples using a range of approaches depending on the individual’s needs. These approaches include psychodynamic therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Gottman Therapy (Level 1) for relationships.
Her experience includes working with eating disorders, weight management, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions (e.g., leaving school, relationships ending, becoming a parent, career transitions), providing both short and long term intervention. Elyse is passionate about supporting people to develop a deep understanding of themselves to enable sustained and long lasting change.
Elyse is available Monday and Thursdays, consulting from Brisbane on Tuesdays. Elyse is currently undertaking a PhD with the Queensland University of Technology, exploring invisible labour aspects of the parenting experiencing.
